The frequent violence and suicides,which have happened in the university campuses in recent years make us realise that it is necessary to focus on college students' mental problems.And the Confucian psychological educational thought is an important part of the Confucian education theories,which contains rich contents and methods of psychological education.The similarities in the educational contents,objectives,levels of the thought with the college students' political and psychological education provides basis for college students to learn from the Confucian psychological educational thought.So there comes new requirements for us to improve college students' effectiveness in political and psychological education : to overcome the facing dilemmas in the practice that college students learn from Confucian psychological education so as to maintain the college students' mental health.Chapter one: the special emotion and consciousness of the college students during the period of adolescence make their psychological problems quite frequent occurred,which puts forward new requirements for the Ideological and Political Education of College Students.The Confucian Thoughts on Psychological Education has a great reference for maintaining the psychological health of college students,draw lessons from the Confucian Thoughts on Psychological Education is not only conducive to riching the content of Ideological and Political Education,improving the method but also conducive to improving college students' humanistic quality and maintaining the psychological health of college students.However,at present,research on this subject is mainly focus on the connotation of the Confucian Thoughts on Education,relations between the Confucian Thoughts on Education and the Ideological and Political Education of College Students,Ideological and PoliticalEducation resources of the Confucian Thoughts on Education,rarely talked about content and method of the Confucian Thoughts on Education,not to mention the links with Ideological and Political Education.Chapter two: the Confucian Thoughts on Education is carried out on"human nature",and finally formed after experience,formation,development,evolution,recovery and development stage,which is based on"Good-Human-Nature Theory”,Evil-Human-Nature Theory”and” Three Grades of Human Nature Theory”.This chapter summarizes the main contents of the Confucian Thoughts on Psychological Education: Adaptive psychology while you Adhere to the principle of moderation to achieve harmony between man and man,man and nature;interpersonal psychology while you get along with your parents and friends;will psychological while you set a clear goal and overcome the tough environment to make it happen with a firm faith;learning psychology while you combine the theoretical study and practice;personality psychology of different levels people.In addition,this chapter also introduces right method to deal with desire and emotion,method to regulate mood through role reversal,method to enlighten each other between students and teachers.Chapter three: the similarity between the Ideological and Political Education of the University and the Confucian Thought of Education in the educational goal,educational content and educational level provides the basis for the University's Ideological and Political Education.Although The goal of the Ideological and Political Education is to cultivate four haves graduates,the goal of Confucian Thoughts on Psychological Education is to cultivate the sage,but requirements is consistent in the aspect of moral and ideal.The Ideological and Political Education achieve its ultimate goal of moral education through the development of world outlook,outlook on life and values,and to ensure students really accept the education content,we need do it on the aspects of knowledge,emotion and meaning,etc from Confucian Thoughts on Psychological Education.The Confucian thought of Psychological Education is the lower stage of the educational activities,theIdeological and Political Education is the advanced stage of education,they have certain continuity in the education level.Chapter four: this chapter analyzes the existing problems and the causes of this problem from the perspective of the Confucian Thoughts on Psychological education provided reference to Ideological and Political Education of the university.Ideological and Political Education from Confucian Thoughts on Psychological Education facing difficulties because influence of the Confucian psychological education thought is weakened after repeated criticism in Chinese history,and there are disadvantages of education system which emphasizing wisdom and belittling ideology.This lead to a result that some college students lack of awareness of the Confucian Thought of Psychological Education,find the Confucian Psychological Education unacceptable,in the actual teaching process cannot fully use the Confucian Thought of Psychological Education.Chapter five: this chapter discusses the specific countermeasures of the University's Ideological and Political Education.The Ideological and Political Education of college students should use the Confucian Thought of Psychological Education in the teaching contents and methods,and strengthen the construction of professional teachers and improve the consciousness of learning.We should make use of the traditional festival ceremony and the internet media to enrich the educational carrier and improve the initiative.It is necessary to actively carry out the campus practice and social practice activities to improve the actual effect.Finally,the family,school and society should work together to create a good environment for the Confucian Thought of Psychological Education which provides the basis for college students' Ideological and political education.
