A Research On The Use Of High School Chinese Language Teaching Materials In The Central Areas Of The Kingdom Of Thailand

In this paper,the author uses 20 public high schools from the central Thai regions as examples, analyzes the Chinese language teaching materials used by each one of them, starting from the teachers that are using the materials, the learners who are studying them etc., going through the use of questionnaires, thus achieving a more in-depth investigation and analysis of the Chinese language teaching materials used in the public schools of the central areas of the Kingdom of Thailand. The main goal is to understand the current situation surrounding the usage of teaching materials by the schools in the Kingdom of Thailand,and the survey results show that: The Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Thailand did set a standardized college entrance teaching system, but did not set a standardized portfolio of Chinese language teaching materials, thus meaning that the schools use different textbooks. The materials that each school selects all have their upsides and downsides, and some materials do not correspond to the educational program of the Ministry of Education, so after studying these materials, the students still don't have the ability to reach the goals set in the education program. Therefore, this research provides some analysis,even adding some effective recommendations that were given by the teachers themselves.It is hoped that the results of this paper will make the Chinese language teaching materials more suitable for the requirements of the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Thailand,and will also be helpful for the selection of teaching materials by both the Ministry of Education and the Chinese language teachers in the country, thus improving the efficiency of the Chinese language materials.
