A Preliminary Study On The Status Quo And Strategies Of Research On Local Geography In Senior High School

Knowledge and economy rapidly development in 21st century.At present,the competition of the international community is ultimately the competition of high-quality knowledge talents.Cultivating high-quality talents with innovative spirit and practical ability to adapt to the new era of social development is the mission of giving education to the times.Research learning is a new way of learning widely respected in the current wave of educational reform in the world.Local geography research study one kind learning methods that formed by the integration of local geography and research study and it really conforms to the idea of the basic concept of new geography curriculum standards in our country.Guangxi is ong of the last batch of sprovinces that implementthe New Curriculum Reform in senior middle school in 2012.The main purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of local geography research study in Guilin and put forward the corresponding improvement strategies to provide reference for the effective promotion of the basic education reform process in Guangxi.The main research methods in this paper,include literature research,questionnaire survey,observation,field investigation.This article mainly includes the following six parts.The first part is the introduction.This part introduces connet in the order of the research background,research significance,domestic and foreign research and research methods.The second part,the author tries to scientifically define the concepts related to the study of local geography research,and then expounds the theoretical basis of this learning mode from three aspects:philosophy,pedagogy and psychology.The third part,the questionnaire of students and geography teachers is analyzed statistically.The fourth part,summarizes the favorable conditions and problems in the study of local geography research in ordinary high schools in Guilin.In the fifth part,the author puts forward the effective strategy of high school geography research study.The fifth six summarizes the research from the research conclusion and the research insufficiency.Through the questionnaire survey and statistical analysis of high school students and geography teachers in Yixian middle school in Guilin,the author finds that,At present,the favorable conditions for local geography research learning in normal high school of Guilin are mainly include:Students' deep geography of emotional,students' good knowledge base of local geography,students' realistic need of changing the traditional way of learning and geography teachers'affirmation and support;however,problems such as the students' motivation of geography is not strong,the lack of consciousness of connecting geography theory with the actual,the ability of geography practice is not high,the neglect of relevant departments and so on,may affect the development of local geography research learning in high schools of Guilin to varying degrees.Based on the analysis of the results and of the concept of using favorable conditions fully and overcoming the existing problems actively,the author propose effective strategies to high school local geography research learning,Such as:cultivate learning interest and learning motivation,the relevant departments to pay attention and provide strong support,promote step by step and gradually,design the teaching reasonably to ensure that the target of teaching is reachable,guide the students frequently and encourage them to collaborate with others,refine the evaluation index and evaluate students scientifically,carry out teaching reflection and promote teaching research.The results of this study have a certain value in Guangxi,however,due to various conditions,there are still some shortcomings in this study and the theoretical innovation needs to be improved.
