With the large number of private colleges and universities and the popularization of higher education,more and more students have the opportunity to enter the University,the pursuit of dreams.The private college students as the last batch of higher education admission system,is part of a special group of college students,during the freshmen,they are facing the transformation and role change learning life,interpersonal relationship to cultivate new challenges,in a short time is difficult to fully adapt to the new living environment.The problems of maladjustment among freshmen are both common and distinctive.Based on these special characteristics,can help students to show themselves,in the group to understand themselves and rapidly changing roles,adapt to the new university life,not only affects their growth in the future,but also affect the stability and development of the school.In order to meet the problem of college freshmen,the main solution of private higher vocational colleges is to carry out all kinds of newborn adaptive education and college students'mental health census activities.The basic forms are mainly lectures and lectures.Boring,involving a smaller range of people.Although the new students' education activities to a certain extent alleviate the new adaptation pressure,but no matter what form,students are always in a passive acceptance of the object,far from meeting the development needs of students,in the end,leading to the process of preaching,Can not achieve the desired educational effect,which puts forward new challenges to the new work of higher vocational colleges.Therefore,in the new work to adapt to the work of the introduction of the concept of social work values,the use of social work in the three methods of the group work method is the current vocational college student management work to add and innovate to help freshman to adapt quickly,To provide theoretical support and practical guidance for college student managers,and further strengthen the professional and localized discussion of social work in colleges and universities.In this paper,DH 2016 freshmen as the object,by extracting DH College 450 new students to conduct a questionnaire survey to understand their enrollment,access to the university to reflect the overall adaptation of the information,and then design the group plan to carry out new students to adapt to the growth team,Through the combination of the team members before and after the assessment,group process assessment and the results of a combination of assessment methods,found freshman in learning,living and interpersonal adaptation has improved significantly,college life gradually on track.Practice has proved that the social work,especially the specialized group of work methods involved in private higher vocational colleges to adapt to the problem is not only feasible,but also for private vocational colleges to solve the problem of adaptability of new students to provide a new way of thinking.
