An Exploration On Application Of Mooc In Middle School Ideological And Political Education

In the Internet era,people’s learning and life has been developed to the stage of intelligence and convenience.In the field of education,Massive online open courses(MOOC,Chinese translation "Mu ke")are on the rising.It integrates the quality of teaching resources and personalized teaching ideas into some courses of the middle school and universities.The advantages such as convenience,practice and personalization,autonomy have benefited many learners,and it has gained the people’s enthusiasm and admiration.Mooc becomes increasingly popular,which set off a revolution gradually in education and learning.In our country,people’s attention and use of MOOC are also increasing.The spring of MOOC,in some degree,promotes greatly the change of education and teaching methods.The ideological and political course of middle school is the main channel for the education of ideal beliefs,worldview and values for middle school students,which is indispensable for the growth of students.Because ideological and political education is a kind of education which can influence and shape the soul of people,it must base on the educator’s rational identity and emotional resonance.For different students,they have different ideological and cognitive level.So it is important to find an effective way for students’ autonomous learning and personalized learning.And MOOC can meet this expectation and requirements.MOOC is the inevitable product of the development of the society,which also conforms to the historical trend of educational reform.The "marriage" of MOOC and ideological and political education of middle school not only promoted a new platform for the reform of the ideological and political education methods which helped to overcome the limitations of the traditional ideological and political teaching methods and effectively enhance the vividness,flexibility and effectiveness of ideological and political education,but also broaden the horizons of learning,deepen the understanding of knowledge and improve the learning experience,and promote the overall quality of middle school students.But at present,due to the impact of examination-oriented education,a large part of the teachers and students feel it difficult to get rid of the traditional teaching,learning methods and concepts of bondage.Coupled with the rejection and questioning of MOOC,as well as constraints of some local network technology,MOOC is far from playing its important role.There is a long way to go to apply MOOC to ideological and political education in middle school.To this end,all parties such as the government,society,schools,teachers and students should take action,and make cooperation together and get support from the policy,sharing resource,change the concept of teaching and other aspects of the application and promotion.Of course,we must also see the disadvantages of MOOC and the advantages of traditional education methods to achieve the complement of MOOC and traditional ideological and political education,to promote the ideological and political education in middle schools and enhance the effect.
