Reading teaching has been always a hot topic in Chinese field.As the important content of Chinese teaching,it has an indelible value for cultivating students' reading abilities and developing the quality-oriented education.If the primary school is the germ stage in the development of reading teaching at the low intermediate level,so the reading teaching of senior class can get adequate nutrition,will directly affect the students' reading level in all his life,and the sound and abnormal development of reading ability.This is because the higher grades of the primary school is the critical period to improving their reading interests and correct their reading habits.According to the survey,some higher grades students have no development on reading ability and their reading interests has not been developed.It is an ideal that they just learn few articles following the text to expect the qualitative breakthrough in reading comprehension.With the improvement of physical mechanism and the development and the nature of psychological gradually,the seniors highlight the stronger stability than juniors in all aspects,especially the persistence of attention.Therefore in this stage inspiring and cultivating timely students' reading interest and habit is undoubtedly good for the development of their reading abilities all the life.This not only can establish a good reading base,but also has the persistent and stable influence.Based on the Chinese reading teaching of the current seniors in the primary school,the author make the questionnaire according to the students' reading interest,motivation,content,habits and so on.Meanwhile,the writer interview on the part of teachers through the teaching attitude,teaching perception,teaching question,teaching outlook and so on,recorded and analyze the normal class which he listened to.The thesis mainly is made up of three parts,as follows: the first part is pose the question.According to the results of the questionnaire show that the senior reading teaching has the problem on the two aspects of teachers' teaching and students' learning.For example,the study found that the teachers' heavy on explain light effect,teaching and learning is separated,the students' basic knowledge is week,reading motivation is not pure,extracurricular reading is no quality guarantee,and the development of reading habits is not good.The second part is to analyze the problem.According to the contradiction of teaching and learning in reading teaching which put forward by the first part,then develop the analysis of factors,and makes every effort to trace roots,so that the strategic basis of solving problem is more suitable and intuitive.The third part is to solve the problem.Combining the higher grades students' physical and mental characteristics in the primary school,the author has carried on the analysis about the problems,which found that teachers play a leading role in the series of problems.So in the strategy part,the author will put more ink in the research on teachers' teaching ways.Meanwhile,he put forward the corresponding countermeasures through the several aspects,such as updating the teaching idea,as well as the preparation,classroom,extra-curricular,assignment and evaluation.And he proposed the suggestions from the aspects of ideas and habits about students.In conclusion,the Chinese plays a vital role as a habit disciplines in the compulsory education stage.Reading is the foundation of Chinese leaning,and affecting the study of other subjects.The senior is the key guidance period to the reading teaching in the primary school.Then the author uses the point to cue into,and spreads out the discussion.
