Primary school is a critical period for the development of students' learning.The academic performances of students have great influence on many aspects of the students' development,such as academic development,employment in the future,interpersonal communication and so on.A student who studies well will not only get the attentions of parents,teachers and others,but also get more opportunities for his/her development.However,a student who studies poorly may be subject to various restrictions in his/her development.The poor learning will be usually defined as learning disabilities in the academic field.As far as the present situation is concerned,the treatments of learning disabilities are mainly from the aspects of education,psychology,medicine and so on.But the social work methods are little used to solve the learning disabilities.The problem of learning disabilities exists objectively today.We should not only learn the obstacles in the speculative level,but also pay attentions to solve the problem.According to the analysis of the classification,origin and diagnosis of the learning disabilities in multi-disciplinary fields,we study the intervening method to solve learning disabilities of primary school student combined with the related knowledge of case work,in the view of strength perspective theory.Based on the existing clinical intervention model of the social work,the process of the school case intervention includes seven stages,which are case acceptance,the bio-psycho-social prediction,diagnosis and estimate,building the therapeutic alliance of the patient,identification of narrative themes with the patient,developmental growth and change,closing and evaluation in this study.Based on the strength perspective theory and the stage of case work,the social workers should explore and integrate resources with the patient together,from the advantages and environmental resources of the patient.Then the social workers need find the advantages from the problem of the patient,and help the patient understand and improve himself.The social workers will help the patient overcome the learning disabilities finally.The results of this study show that,the case work intervening method to solve learning disabilities based on strength perspective theory is helpful for social workers to establish good professional relationship with the patient.We also find that this method has strong pertinence and uniqueness.It can effectively promote positive changes of the patient.And the case work intervening method based on strength perspective theory is an effective way to solve the problem of learning disabilities of primary school students.
