The creation of calculus is a milestone in the history of mathematics. Its development and application have created a new era of transition to modern mathematics,which brings new challenges and new opportunities to the teachers. It's not only the natural sublimation and promotion of the method to solve problems in primary mathematics, but also the catalyst of transition from constant thought to variable thought.At present, using calculus to deal with problems about the nature of functions and inequation is a hot point in the college entrance examination.However,the teaching strategies that the teacher uses in mathematics affect the quality and effect of the class directly .The implemention of new curriculum has been more than ten years , what about the lessons of this part now ? what are the problems ? how to do calculus teaching can play its unique value ? Thus we need to explore the current teaching strategies and it's necessary to do the study.Firstly,this paper puts forward the teaching requirements of new curriculum standard in four aspects: knowledge, thinking, application and culture,as well as the requirements of college entrance examination outline.It gives the psychological theory of teaching strategy as the foundation, followed by the description about calculus teaching status quo in several representative countries that are influential internationally and China.Then,in view of the current calculus teaching practice,investigation and analysis are given.Therefore,we get the problems existing in calculus teaching and put forward the teaching strategies of calculus in high shool from three aspects,including the preparation strategy of classroom teaching,the main teaching behavior strategy and the auxiliary teaching behavior strategy.We integrate the strategies into classroom teaching and implement the teaching experiment to test the rationality and validity of the teaching strategies,which is able to explore the new and effective teaching methods and learning styles to enhance the quality of teaching,so that we could make a little contribution for the research of calculus teaching.
