Analysis Of The Managementcase Of The High-level Basketball Team In Huaqiao University

Huaqiao University's Men Basketball Team was officially set up in 1986, which have gained outstanding achievement in the series of competition in the country. Besides,it has won the champion of CUBA (Chinese University Basketball Association) for nice times, since the establishment of CUBA in 1998, becoming the first team to realize three successive championships in CUBA. This research focuses on the successful experience in high-level basketball team management, which is of great significance in improving the school physical education, activating the atmosphere of school sports, strengthening the spiritual construction on campus and promoting the physical fitness activities for all.This is a research on the current situation of the management of Men's Basketball Team of Huaqiao University. It adopts the scientific research methods of documentary analysis, questionnaire survey, interviews, mathematical statistics and logical reasoning.The results of the research are as follows. First, the current players of the team mainly come from regular high schools and all have the qualified certificates of the second level of national standard and above and they all own good physical conditions. Second, the coach team of high-level athlete team in Huaqiao University is made up of the aged, the middle-aged and the young and it mainly consists of the middle-aged, which is reasonable in the structure; the structure of professional title is polarized and it has fewer full-time coaches. Third, the high-level basketball team in Huaqiao University has adequate supply of funds and high-level coaches; the leaders attach great importance to the team and the living treatment for the athletes is good. Fourth, the players in the team are facing relatively conspicuous conflicts between study and training. Fifth, the team ensures enough time for training; it insists on training for the whole year, for which the athletes all have some improvement in the training; it has the annual, phased and lesson plan but lacks the training plan for years ahead,the training monitoring and medical supervision.Conclusion: First, the development of the men's basketball team in Huaqiao University requires the gradual enrichment and perfection of its internal environment and optimizing of the scientific training methods. Second,it needs to set up a long-term mechanism of the coach management, that is, change the traditional coach appointment system, establish the employment system, implement the responsibility system and strengthen the training of coaches and the reward system. Third,it should hold various kinds of training and further education in order to improve the vocation quality of coaches,to promote its creative ability in management and to build up a professional coach team of high quality, high level and high professional dedication. Fourth, it needs to strengthen the management of the basketball team and solve the athletes' problems in study and life etc., monitor the training of the team and ensure the quality of the training.Fifth, it should strengthen the efficiency of the resource assignment and make full of the current resources in school; it needs to develop college sports industry and sports competition markets, expand the source of funds and attract the investment from society in order to realize the socialization and market-oriented development of the high-level sports in universities.
