Micro-lecture is an opportunity for education in the information age. It is a modern educational technology. It is using efficient time utilization and flexible and free learning methods to activate the enthusiasm and possibility of people's learning in an all-round way. Because of the convenience of personalized learning, micro teaching has made its appearance and spread rapidly in subject teaching. The birth and application of micro courses provide the guarantee for the realization of the operation and inquiry of the information technology curriculum.This paper is divided into six parts: the first part mainly introduces the research background, purpose and significance, research methods and present situation; the second part is the related concepts and theoretical basis, mainly introduces the concept and characteristics, the classification of micro class and micro class related theoretical basis; the third part is the preliminary analysis of micro lesson in the application of information technology curriculum teaching in junior high schools. The fourth part based on the cognitive load theory and micro learning theory as the theoretical basis of micro course design, combined with the previous analysis results of specific teaching contents and the third part, the design of micro course,designed a micro class theory class,five class micro operation course, gives the specific application design two class type micro class, and select a micro class as a case, the complete design process is presented; the fifth part introduces the application process of the micro course in the actual teaching, the researchers selected the Hubei Education Press seven first grade unit of information processing theory course "with me," and the second information processing unit skill operation course "picture synthesis" of the two classes, the design and fabrication of the micro class corresponding, and the experimental classes and control classes to take the method of application with the heterogeneous class,the experimental class After the questionnaire results, the teacher interviews and the experimental class and the control class assignments submitted by comparing the results to summarize the application of micro class teaching in junior middle school information technology in the value and problems. It provides reference for the application of micro course in the course of information technology teaching. The sixth part is the summary and outlook of this research.Through the study, we find that micro class is very useful in the information technology class, especially in the operation class. It can act as a small teacher and help the instructor to guide the students. In the theoretical class, the application effect is not very significant, mainly in the design needs innovation, but still can improve the students'learning interest to a certain extent.
