The Curriculum Standard for Physics of Senior High School pointed that teachers should give student’s main functions full play,arouse students’ interest in learning,and combine the knowledge with ability training in the teaching process.With the new promulgation and implementation of the new curriculum standards,multimedia-teaching has been gradually involved in the physics class teaching.After so many years of the development,multimedia-teaching has accumulated rich experience,enriched the teaching means and method,and has a positive effect on the teaching structure,teaching concept and teaching form.But in the actual process of multimedia-teaching,what actual effects it has on the efficiency of physics teaching,the students’ interest in learning,the ability of experimental operation and the ability of autonomic learning has not been specifically tested and validated.At first,according to the modern learning theories,the audio-visual teaching theory and education communication theory,this paper discusses and expounds the theoretical basis of the use of multimedia teaching in physics class,and briefly analyzes the students’ common difficulties in the physics course;And then it analyzes the characteristics of physics teaching with multimedia,and discusses the necessity of using multimedia in the physics teaching at senior high school.Then the paper lists the common difficulties in physical concepts,physical laws and in physics experiment.By using teaching examples,it analyzes the methods which improve the efficiency of physics teaching with multimedia-teaching in the teaching process of physical concepts,laws of physics and physics experiment.What’s more,it concludes the teaching strategies with the use of multimedia-teaching.Besides,it has experiment in two basically identical classes for one semester,the one is experimental class and the other is comparative class.And the two classes are taught by the same teacher.The teaching conditions are nearly same except for the different teaching modes,We have investigations and tests about students’ learning interest,experimental operating ability and the ability of autonomic learning before and after the experiment.Through the analysis of the exam results before and after the test,the questionnaire of students’ learning interests,the structured paper of experiment operating ability and the questionnaire data of the independent learning ability,it explores the changes of students’learning interest,the teaching efficiency,the experiment operating ability and the ability of autonomous learning as well as the deficiencies with the use of multimedia-teaching in the physics teaching.
