Social communication ability refers to the ability to communicate with others,exchange information and deal with the relationship between people.It includes self-monitoring ability,social cognitive ability,interpersonal communication ability,interpersonal management ability,ability to solve social problems,expression ability and understanding ability.Compulsory education biology curriculum standard proposed to focus on improving students' ability to analyze and solve problems,the ability of communication and cooperation,the ability to solve practical problems in production or production of social life,these all belong to the category of social skills.The research shows that the role play teaching method has an effect on the students' social communication ability,but it has no influence on the social communication ability.In this paper,we mainly study the role playing teaching method which influence the students' social communication abilityThis study is mainly based on quasi experimental research,supplemented by literature research,questionnaire survey,interview.Some studies have pointed out that the role play teaching method has an impact on the students' social communication ability,but has not done in-depth research,and did not point out the specific impact on social communication ability,This study mainly focuses on the role playing teaching method which specifically affects the students' social communication ability.This study is a quasi experimental research method,supplemented by literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,taking Shanxi city of Linfen province Jiefang Road school grade 33 class as experimental class and class 32 as the control class,the role-playing teaching method of middle school students' social ability influence is studied.The self compiled "middle school students' social communication ability assessment scale" is the tool of this study.On the basis of literature review,the expert evaluation has a good validity,and the reliability of the scale is tested by SPSS17.0.The Alpha coefficient of the scale is 0.901,and the reliability is good.In the experimental study,the independent role play teaching method,the dependent variable is the ability of social communication,the control variables mainly from the following aspects: two classes to ensure the same number,the proportion of men and women are basically the same 2 to ensure that the same teaching content of.3.by the same teacher teaching.4.teaching.5.ensure other extracurricular activities participation the same as the same time.In the experimental study,the independent role play teaching method,the dependent variable is the ability of social communication,the control variables mainly from the following aspects: 1Two classes ensure the same number,the proportion of men and women are basically the same;2.The teaching content is the same;3.The same teacher teaching content;4.The same period of teaching.5.to ensure that the participation of other extracurricular activities the same.From October 2016 to 12,the experiment was conducted on four times of the role play,before and after the experiment,questionnaires were sent to the students before and after the experiment,and the data were analyzed by SPSS17.0:(1)role play teaching method can significantly improve the students' social skills.After the experiment measured junior middle school students' social skills scores of the control class is113.8,the experimental class was 116.41,by variance homogeneity test results:P=0.049<0.05,compared with the control class,the experimental class students' social communication ability has been significantly improved.(2)there was no significant difference in the ability of social communication ability in the experimental class after the experiment,but all of them have been improved significantly,especially the interpersonal communication ability and interpersonal management ability of the students.Comparison of the ability of each dimension in the experiment before and after the average ability to find interpersonal communication skills and ability to solve social problems increased by 0.9074 and 0.76.Do the test of homogeneity of variance of the experimental class and social skills: self control ability of p=0.135>0.05,p=0.232>0.05 social cognitive ability,interpersonal communication ability of p=0.083>0.05,p=0.302>0.05 management and interpersonal skills,social problem-solving ability of p=0.055>0.05,five capacity p value is greater than 0.05,there are no significant differences.(3)There was no significant difference between the male and female students' social communication ability,but the ability of social communication,especially the interpersonal communication ability of the female students was significantly higher than that of boys.From the point of view of social communication ability,the mean value of female students was118.14,the mean of boys was about 114.54,and the social communication ability of female students was significantly higher than that of boys.The variance homogeneity test of the social intercourse ability of the male and female students in the experimental class found that: the overall social communication ability P=0.15>0.05,indicating that the experimental class boys and girls have no significant difference in social communication ability.There are significant differences between male and female students in interpersonal communication ability p=0.012<0.05,The P values of the other four dimensions were greater than 0.05,and the difference was not significant.Interview results show:The higher the enthusiasm of students to participate in role-playing,the faster the ability of social communicationThrough the above experiments and the analysis of the interview results,we get the conclusion of this study:(1)Role playing teaching method can improve students' social communication ability in biology teaching in middle school.(2)The role play teaching method is more obvious to the interpersonal communication ability and the ability to solve the social problems.the ability of self-monitoring,social cognitive ability and interpersonal management ability is not obvious.(3)On the whole,the role play teaching method is higher than the male students in the social communication ability,but there is no significant difference between male and female students in the social intercourse ability.However,from the perspective of each competency,there is a significant difference between male and female students' interpersonal communication ability.(4)The students' participation in the role play has a positive effect on the improvement oftheir social communication ability,the higher the enthusiasm of student participation,the faster the social communication ability.
