With the development of dynamic curriculum, the teachingcontent, teaching or teaching theory and practice as well in the junior middle school biology,is developing all the time. Biology teaching under the new course standard requires teachers toimprove students’ biological science literacy from three dimensions that isknowledge, ability, emotion attitude and values. However, there are some problems inthe junior middle school biology teaching in remote and poor areas, it can not completelyreflect the basic idea of the new curriculum of junior middle school biology. Role-playing is aneffective way to solve the above problem. It plays a very good role in the skills of thestudents, the cultivation of emotional attitude and values. The writer has used the method ofdocumentary,questionnaire,experimental teaching to finish this thesis. What’s more,T testwas used for processing and analyzing the data from experiments and the questionnaires. Afterusing role-playing in the middle school biology class, the author has gotten the followingconclusions:it indeed can improve the students’ performance, enhance students’ interpersonalskills, and increase the learning interest and motivation of students. Research through thecombination of theory and teaching practice, this paper obtained the evaluation system ofrole-playing teaching. However, in practice there are some problems in the process, forexample, teachers may set unreasonable situations, teachers maybe do not know their suitableroles clearly, students participate the procedure partly, and knowing little about therole-playing goal is also a problem. These questions need our further research and discussion.
