The history of Mathematics is not only the true account of the development of Mathematical Sciences, but also the wisdom of mathematicians at all times and in all places. With the advance of new mathematics curriculum reform, the history of Mathematics are increasingly popular among mathematics educators. Therefore, how to combine the history of mathematics with High School mathematics teaching and how to carry out the plan has become an important topic in today's mathematics education.Then how do mathematics textbooks reflect the history of mathematics? What are the functions of the history of mathematics? How is the teaching of the history of mathematics going on in the frontline teaching? What approaches should teachers mainly adopt? How should these methods be applied? Based on the questions above,deep research and thorough analysis are conducted in this study.The paper mainly contains the following contents:Based on relevant literature, the first chapter analyzes the research background and research status of this topic at home and abroad. Meanwhile,research questions, research significance and research methodology are stated briefly.The second chapter is developed by analyzing High School mathematics textbooks for Jiangsu, which includes the content distribution, the content subject and the presentation of the history of mathematics. The outcome follows and finally the value of the history of mathematics in textbooks are stated.The third chapter combines the investigation of the history of mathematics with classroom teaching and makes a reasonable analysis of the survey results. Based on these statistics, some problems related to the integration of the history of mathematics are raised.According to the findings of the third chapter, the fourth chapter put some suggestions on permeating the history of mathematics in High School teaching. The suggestions are mainly about teaching materials, mathematics teachers and some aspects to pay attention to when infiltrating the history of mathematics in teaching.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and prospect of the research.The history of mathematics has a unique educational value and has attracted more and more people's attention. Through the research of this subject, the author hopes toprovide theoretical and practical basis for the first-line high school mathematics teachers, thus promoting the development of mathematics education.
