The teaching should be oriented to all students. However, the existing class teaching system has not yet paied enough attention to the individual difference among those students, thus failing to satisfy the learning needs of different students. There has been also a wide gap in the academic performance of those students in the class. The same problem can be found in the course of Ideology and Politics. In order to solve this problem, the author has made an in-depth research into the multi-level teaching for the course of Ideology and Politics in Guiyang XX High School by means of literature, interview, action research and experience summarization. The author will also discuss whether the teaching mode can be applied to the course of Ideology and Politics in high school. After identifying some problems in the implementation of teaching system, the author will offer some countermeasures accordingly so as to form a multi-level teaching mode suitable for the course of Ideology and Politics. It will also provide some reference for the future teaching. This paper consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction which is concerned with the research background and meaning, the current status of multi-teaching research both at home and abroad, research method, research purpose as well as innovative points.The second part will elaborate on the multi-level teaching, including the basic concepts, main features, necessary components and theoretical basis of multi-level teaching.The third part the implementation status of multi-level teaching in the course of Ideology and Politics in Guiyang X High School will be discussed in the third part of this paper. It is mainly concerned with the preliminary design of multi-level teaching, the application of multi-level teaching to the course of Ideology and Politics, application result and relevant analysis.The fourth part of this paper is the reflection on the application of multi-level teaching to the course of Ideology and Politics in Guiyang X High School, including the advantage, problems and countermeasures for the multi-level teaching.
