Due to the development of society and innovation of educational concept, the new curriculum reform put forward new requirements for Chinese language teaching. For cultivating students’ Chinese language accomplishment, it should be based on improving the quality and accomplishment of the population. Utilizing video resources in Chinese language teaching in high school, we can create a new teaching model, enrich the classroom teaching and improve students’ language ability to help them set up value outlook. Based on the previous studies of utilizing video resources in Chinese language teaching in high schools in Liupanshui City area, the thesis uses statistical analysis and other methods to explore both existed problems and current situation through scientific data investigation. Combined these problems with case studies, the thesis aims to build the basic principles, method and recommendations of utilizing video resources in Chinese language teaching in high schools by carrying out representative and targeted teaching experiment.This thesis is divided into five parts: The first part, Introduction, points out the significance of the issue, and offers comprehensive analysis of current research situation to indicate research methods. The second part defines the core concepts, which include film and television resources and their characteristic, relation between current Chinese language teaching condition of high schools in Liupanshui City area and utilization of video resources, and a clear scope of the study. The third part uses questionnaire survey to explore current situation of utilizing video resources in Chinese language teaching in high schools in city area, through a comprehensive analysis of the status, not only to find the influence factors of rate and effect of the utilization but also to pave the way for inquiring the following effective case practice. The fourth part takes three different types of articles as examples to analyze the effect of utilizing video resources in Chinese language teaching process in high school and in setting up emotion state and value outlook, which is based on case analysis and combines students’ feedback with classroom performance. The fifth part, with the analysis of case studies, suggests how to utilize video resources rationally and offer effective classroom teaching and aims to build the basic principles, method and recommendations of utilizing video resources in Chinese language teaching in high schools in city area, which are resulted in optimizing the utilization to prompt achieving the desired goal.
