Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of University Student Dormitory Management In Xinjiang

College dormitory is the main place for students' activities,the small group of large group in Colleges and universities,the resting place of "Jiaozi house" for college students.It helps students to improve the overall quality of the "second class" and cultivates college students' collectivism spirit and good habits for important positions.Therefore,the management of College S tudents' dormitory is not only the key point of logistics management,but also a part of student affairs management.Good student dormitory management is not only beneficial to deepen the reform of management system,build a harmonious campus,but also beneficial to carry out the fundamental task of the "moral education",promote students' all-round development.However,with the continuous development of higher education and the reform of college logistics socialization,the management of students' dormitories in Xinjiang colleges and universities is facing some new situations and new problems.It is of great practical significance to improve the quality of the management of college students' accommodation in Xinjiang,how to put forward the corresponding solutions and make the students' dormitory management play its due function.This study adopts the method of theory with practice.Straighten up the management of student dormitory in colleges and university related content and theoretical basis through the literature method to collect and sort out the relevant concepts of literatures about dormitory management and the management of college students' dormitory.Then do comprehensive practical investigation on the management of students' dormitory in Shihezi University's by the questionnaire survey method and interview method.The study was conducted by using the self-designed questionnaire of student dormitory management in Shihezi University,and the sample survey was conducted on the full-time undergraduate students in Shihezi University.The contents of the questionnaire were put forward from the aspects of dormitory management staffs,dormitory culture construction,dormitory institution and management system,then combining with the interview data to understand the existence of Shihezi University students' dormitory management problems and the reasons of the problems based on the data of scientific analysis.The study found that after decades of exploration,Shihezi university has formed its own set of management idea and the management pattern in the student dormitory management,and has made undeniable achievement on the ‘minorities and Han living together'.But at present there are still some problems.For example,the dormitory facilities and environme nt construction are difficult to meet the development needs of students;lack of management personnels and professional quality;the dormitory culture lack of attraction;the students' safety consciousness are weak and exist the hidden danger;the students lack of the ability of self management and they also exist some non-standard management behaviors.The main causes of those problems are from the university itself and the students.University level includes the limitations of historical development,the bias of management concept,the lack of effective integration from multi functional departments,the less attention to the construction of dormitory culture,and the loopholes in management system.The reasons for students include the immature of the self consciousness,unfulfillment of ideological awareness,and the lack of subjectivity.Through the case study on the management of students' dormitory in Shihezi University,combined with the basic function of the dormitory management,put forward t he countermeasures for perfecting the student dormitory management in Xinjiang,such as improve the dormitory hardware facilities,pay attention to the dormitory "environmental education";strengthen the professional construction management team,enhance the overall quality of management personnel;carry out the dormitory safety education work,promote the dormitory safety;promote the construction of dormitory culture,play the full function of educating people;Fully arouse the enthusiasm of students,and standardize management of the students to participate in.
