Learning status means that the students' series of comprehensive performance throughout the whole learning process,it plays an important entry point for prejudge higher vocational students' learning,also plays an important role in the study of the students.Under the premise of our country vigorously developing the vocational education,through the empirical investigation of the higher vocational students' learning status,found the existing problems and the influencing factors,put forward the effective countermeasures to improve the learning status of them,which has very important theoretical significance.In recent years,the Chinese government has paid great attention to the reform and development of vocational education.As an important part of vocational education,has a significant impact on the development of vocational education.How to improve the status of the students to improve the value of the education,enhance the status of it,and promote the rapid development of vocational education has practical significance.In this paper,four vocational college students in Tianjin as the research object,on the basis of social learning theory,through the questionnaire survey,interviews and classroom observation to investigate their learning status,statistics shows:1.Learning attitude,higher vocational students' class atmosphere is excellent,the class cohesion is strong,students get along friendly,honest examination is good,study atmosphere needs to be improved,especially the habits and network communication tools have great influence on their learning;2.Learning ability,they have a certain sense of autonomous learning,learning methods and strategies need to be improved,learning enthusiasm and self-confidence to be improved;3.Professional skills,they have certain professional skills,but the professional knowledge need to be strengthened,especially in the practical ability and the study on the foreign languages;4.Learning effect,they have certain skills on the social required,can coordinate life and work,but they need to increase the effectiveness of learning in school.The investigation of the demographic variables were compared with the four aspects of the learning status,and use the Chi square test,results shows:1.Learning attitude influenced by their own factors,also by their parents' educational level;2.Learning ability and professional skills are influenced by their interest and their parents' work background;3.Learning effect is influenced by their major,grade and their parents' work background.
