It is imaging systems that one of the three major components of geography textbook,that contains a wealth of geographical information,that the unique carrier of geography information and teaching tool of geography.On the one hand,map teaching can verify the level of geography teachers;on the other hand,map learning can be used to assess the learning ability of students learn geography.Graphic conversion is one way of teaching geography with the help of maps,based on the image memory in right brain,that have a complex effect on teaching efficiency.In this paper,we conducted “right brain memory” teaching activities and general teaching activities in two class of learning ability similar,aimed at quantitative assessment the effect of teaching efficiency by graphic conversion geographic teaching based on right brain memory,summary teaching strategy,and advocate innovation teaching method,which can inspiring students learning interest,activating geographic class atmosphere,building high efficient geographic class.The main results are shown as follows.1.Geography has similar disciplinary thinking and learning methods in some degree.In learning methods,geography learning should draw on the spatial thinking and logical reasoning of mathematics,and carry out geography learning in a way that combines logical reasoning with visual representation.Under the background of new curriculum reform,teacher should guide students to change learning method,and help students to establish the correct thinking in geography.2.Survey results show that surveyed senior students have the ability of reading maps,but the ability of reading maps,spatial analysis and logical analysis are remain low that is the effect of constraint student achievement.“Map” is,as a second language,an important mean to express the geographical facts and visualize the geographic distribution patterns.It is urgent that teacher should consciously use graphic conversion way to conduct geography teaching,to help students link map and description,to form the geographic thinking,to improve the efficiency of learning geography.I also believe that the teaching method is the key factor affecting the skill level of students achieved that is the teaching goal.3.The combination for geography teaching with right brain memory is require which return to the essence of geography.This research summary some teaching strategy of graphic conversion as follows:a)Life-experience as materials of geography teaching;b)Multimedia of geography teachingc)Situation of geography teachingd)Systematization of geography teachinge)Associate image and textf)Carton of geography textbooksg)To stimulate the right brain memory,develop whole brain function,andlearning by whole brain...
