| With the pushing forward of national education information and the continuously promotion of the new curriculum reform,the requirements of contemporary education for various courses are constantly improving.To conforming to the requirements of new era of education,the geography course of junior middle school always trying to optimize the concept,change the thinking,and constantly sublimate the concept of basic courses.Junior middle school geography course requires to educate students with life-using geographical knowledge,and to build an open-geography classroom.Therefore,a geography teacher is meant to study deeply on how to cultivate students’ interest in learning geography,improve the efficiency of learning,and build a comprehensive thinking of geography.On the basis of referring to relevant literature and analyzing the research status domestically and internationally,this paper adopts certain methods and theories.It also combined with relevant theory of whole brain thinking,and based on the practical experience of junior middle school geography teaching,throughout selection,classification and summary of geographical knowledge,uses whole brain thinking method based on association to conduct geography teaching,and receives it by using questionnaire collection method,to analyze the gathered information then drawing final conclusions.This paper puts forward the research on how to use the whole brain thinking method in geography learning,aiming to cultivate students’ enthusiasm for learning geography,improve the learning effect,implement the geography teaching beneficial to students’ life-long development,and help students to build a comprehensive geography thinking.The integration of the whole brain thinking is conducive to improving students’ learning passion in geography and cultivating their interest in learning them;it is also conducive to efficient learning and enhancing their self-confidence in learning;it is also conducive in exercising their imagination and memory,cultivating their thinking and creativity,and building a comprehensive geographical thinking;it is also conducive to developing their brain power and enhance their thinking ability in terms of life growth.In recent years,whole brain thinking has been added to the new era of education,and gradually put it into applications in many fields and courses.However,the research and application in high school geography learning is yet limited.In the ending part of this paper,the author puts forward the shortcomings and prospects,hoping that her study can open a different way of thinking and multi angle research topic for junior middle school geography teaching. |
