To explore twenty-four taijiquan for 60-69 years old people influence on physical health,find the winter is long in urumqi region characteristic and the function of the elderly fall characteristics of sports.In this paper,using the experimental method,literature data method,mathematical statistics,etc,to urumqi slow cycling association(Did not participate in any slow riding activities during the experiment and the body can participate in moderate intensity exercise)of 20 to 60-69-year-old old people without the basis of taijiquan exercise were studied.To attend 15 on Tuesday 14 th taijiquan exercise 60-69 years old people in exercise before and after the body mass index test,collecting,sorting and analysis.The following conclusions:(1)twenty-four Style Taijiquan exercise can improve the body shape of the 60-69 year old,and reduce the accumulation of fat in the body.Mainly through the 15 week twenty-four Style Taijiquan exercise,the elderly BMI(BMI)and WHR(waist to hip ratio)decreased.(2)twenty-four Style Taijiquan exercise can improve the heart and lung function of the 60-69 year old.The main manifestation was that after 15 weeks of twenty-four Taijiquan exercise,the vital capacity indexes of both sexes were extremely significant(P<0.01).(3)twenty-four Style Taijiquan exercise can improve the physical quality of the 60-69 year old.Mainly in the twenty-four Style Taijiquan exercise for 15 weeks,the balance ability of old people(standing on one foot with eyes closed),power quality(Wo Li),flexibility(sit and reach),agility(reaction time)of these four aspects by some positive impact.(4)by talking with the subjects,most of the older people like the twenty-four style taijiquan.Therefore,the government should increase twenty-four Taijiquan propaganda and the opportunity to give more people to learn,so that more elderly people to participate in the twenty-four Style Taijiquan exercise in the project,at the same time,but also conducive to the excellent traditional sports inheritance.
