Film is an existing form of audiovisual synthesis,space-time synthesis and technical synthesis.It integrates various elements such as literature,stories and music.It not only make great influences on people values,thoughts and behavior,habits and customs,but also support an important way to the young people learning and development in the new media era.Film as a new way of education,can enhance the level of appreciation and artistic sentiments of young people,also can develop young people's skills with imagery to express thinking.As soon as put the film education into the primary and secondary education system is very important for improving the knowledge structure of young people and practical ability.Youth film education in China started relatively late,the progress of development is lagging behind.Since 1996,the Ministry of Education has issued a series of documents about primary and secondary schools films recommended screening,film education began to take form.In 2008 released a notice about "The further development of primary and secondary education in film and television ".It began to make clear that "put the film and television education into primary and secondary school teaching plan,give full use to the excellent film educational function".Thus,the formal education of young people has put forward in the form of standardized documents.Britain has played a pioneer role in the development process of the world's youth film education.Since its emerge the concept of teenagers film education,It has been in existence for more than 80 years.With its long history and rich experience,Britain has gradually formed a sound and effective education system,representing the advanced level of world's youth film education.This article start with the history British youth film education,analysis the change with its film education development.Get the latest data and first-hand information from the official website of BFI,FILMCLUB,Into Film and others,Base on the books,literatures integration of information.Expect find the experience about British youth film education development,then take comments and suggestions toChina's youth film education.The first part of this paper,I will discuss the development of British youth film education and analysis the ideas evolution in the four courses.The second part analyzes the British youth film education implementation strategy,including its strategic model and strategic initiatives.The third part of the paper summarizes the experience of the development of the British youth film education,and analyzes the obstacles to its development.At last,based on the successful experiences of the UK and the situation of China,the author puts forward some suggestions on how to develop the youth film education in China.
