In today's era,various hardware and software provide powerful support for multimedia teaching,and film and television works are developing in the direction of massive,exquisite and diverse,they have an increasing impact on education.The unique comprehensive and regional characteristics of the geography subject make intuitive teaching necessary.The new curriculum standards also clearly require the creation of an intuitive,real-time and vivid geography teaching environment.Geographic film and television resources play an important role in cultivating students' core qualities.This article mainly adopts the literature data method and questionnaire survey method to sort out the development process of geographical film and television resources in teaching by sorting,analyzing and summarizing documents and materials,to understand the connotation and types and influences of film and television resources,and to enhance the first-line geography teachers' theoretical understanding of geography film and television;through a questionnaire survey on high school students and teachers,to understand the current status of the application of film and television resources in the cultivation of high school students 'geographic core literacy.There are many advantages about geographic film and television resources.Conclusions as below:the use of geographic film and television resources is more common,the school multimedia facilities are complete,they can provide hardware environment support,teachers can actively use and share and create geographic film and television resources according to the teaching needs;Students are very interested in the form of video teaching,which is an inexhaustible motive force for the development of geographic film and television resources;film and television resources play an important role in the cultivation of geographic core literacy and exert great value.For teachers,the use of film and television resources can increase efficiency,breakthroughs in difficult points,etc.For students,geographic film and television resources are important for students to understand geographic knowledge,find and think about geographic issues,pay attention to national conditions,enhance national pride,broaden international horizons,establish global concepts,improve geographic aesthetic interest,and change many aspects such as daily bad life behaviors and solving geographical problems have had a great impact.But from anotherpoint of view,found that there are many problems in the specific application process: the problem focuses on the selection,acquisition and processing of film and television resources.So this research introduces detailed solutions to the problem.In order to give full play to the greater value of geographical film and television resources,this research combines high school geographical film with television resources specific application cases,put forward practical teaching strategies,and strive to nurture students 'core literacy in a targeted and precise manner,and improve students' "partial literacy" to promote the overall development of students.Develop teaching design based on core literacy and television resources,and establish a geographic film and television resource library according to the actual needs of teaching,in order to help teachers establish a correct view of curriculum resources,improve teachers' professional qualities,and provide middle school geography teachers practical guidance,and attract more geography educators to pay attention to geographic film and television resources,and jointly build a more comprehensive geographic film and television resource database.
