China’s film and television education has been for a long time, but the study ofthe high school film education is still relatively few. In fact, the practice of the highfilm education has been carried out within a certain range, and of course, thetheoretical research is extremely necessary. It has social significance, industrysignificance, cultural significance, and academic significance.This article is based on the subject construction of No.44Middle SchoolTelevision in Dalian. This school is one of a few schools which treat the film andtelevision arts as an independent discipline, and put it into practice. The concept of theschool is emotion·cognition education which is very preventative in high schools.We fully explored the problems occurred in high school film education andselected four key issues, namely, institutional issue, faculty issue, the source ofstudents, curriculum issue to make detailed analysis. Finally come out two measuresto solve the problems:First, determine from the concept that the high school film education is a kind ofmedia literacy education. To develop the high school film education all over China weshould spread that concept first.Second, point out the best way to solve all the problems is to establish thediscipline of high school film and television arts. Only formally establish thediscipline that we can effectively promote the development of China’s high schoolfilm education.
