With the progress of the quality-oriented education,teachers,as the grassroots promoter of educational reform,play a key role in implementing the education.Hence,the teachers must reflect on the educational issue of how to organize the teaching activities to cultivate the social talents seeking all-round development with the proper thoughts,emotion,attitude and behavior.Faced with both the appeal of United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization for caring education and the needs of the caring education for psychological health of those students in elementary and junior middle schools,teachers must emphasize the self-cultivation of caring behaviors in the professional ethics.Teachers must show proper guidance and concern to the junior middle school students in adolescent.The physical education(PE)is an outdoor course and focuses on physical exercises.The PE teachers have more chances to communicate with students in terms of body and language,to improve students' physical quality and to cultivate their proper thoughts.Based on the theory of care ethics,this study chooses PE teachers and students in ten junior middle schools of five districts in Shenyang as the object or research.By means of literature review,questionnaire and classroom observation,this study has designed the rational indexes regarding PE teachers' caring behaviors in class,aiming at acquainting with the current status and the cognition of caring behaviors of PE teachers in junior middle schools of Shenyang and finding out existing problems and then putting forward constructive advice on how to improve the caring behaviors of PE teachers so as to make students feel the concern of their teachers and promote the development of caring emotion between teachers and students in PE classes.This thesis consists of three parts.The first part is the indexes regarding PE teachers' caring behaviors in class,which are collected by predictive questionnaire and recognized by PE teachers and students.After the evaluation of the experts,the result of the questionnaire has been used to analyze principal components.Three factors about PE teachers' caring behaviors in class in junior middle school have been defined,namely the behaviors of responsibility,the behaviors of support and the behaviors of toleration.The second part aims to survey the cognition of caring behaviors in class among teachers and students in junior middle schools in Shenyang.As is shown by the questionnaire results,many PE teachers are well aware of showing caring behaviors to students in class.The necessity of showing caring behaviors in class and identifying students' needs for physical quality and sports interest has been realized by the PE teachers.However,many PE teachers still focus on the responsibility of imparting knowledge to students.As a result,they have neglected to show understanding and respect to students in emotional communication.In the third part,the mutual evaluation of the questionnaire regarding the caring behaviors in class has been conducted from the angle of teachers and students.As is shown by the results,PE teachers' caring behaviors in class have not been well recognized by many students.From the dimensions of the behaviors of responsibility,the behaviors of support and the behaviors of toleration,most PE teachers have made a self-evaluation higher than what the students feel.At the same time,there are also varying degrees of difference in the expression of different behaviors.
