A Study On The Relationship Between Teachers And Students In Middle School From The Perspective Of Noddings' Caring Theory

Nowadays,with the rapid social changes,education is also undergoing corresponding changes,in which the change of the relationship between teachers and students has become one of the focuses of people's attention.The relationship between teachers and students is the most basic and important interpersonal relationship in a school.The quality of the relationship between teachers and students is of great significance to the quality of education,the efficiency of teaching and the growth of students.The relationship between teachers and students is not only based on the teaching relationship of knowledge supply and demand,but also on the complex relationship of internal needs.If only see the former,then the relationship between teachers and students is only a professional relationship for teachers to complete the teaching work.Moreover,due to the neglect of the latter,this kind of teaching relationship is very difficult to achieve the real purpose of teaching and educating people.It is based on this that care is introduced into the construction of teacher-student relationship,and has attracted more and more public attention.However,the middle school stage is in the "golden period" of human life development.With the rapid development of physiological,psychological and social cognition of middle school students,their inner world is also becoming complex,Aa a result,teachers and students are often the most difficult to get along with each other.How to care for students and build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students in middle school has becomes very important.At present,the relationship between teachers and students in middle schools in China is in a harmonious state,but it has also been exposed many discordant "notes".The continuous news of students' humiliating and killing teachers has also aroused our thinking on the relationship between teachers and students.Through the investigation of the current situation of the relationship between teachers and students in middle school and the analysis of these tragic events,we can easily find that there are two extreme phenomena in the current relationship between teachers and students in middle school,one is the Passerby relationship between teachers and students,the other is the nanny relationship between teachers and students.In the Passerby relationship between teachers and students,teachers and students lack of care for each other,while in the nanny relationship between teachers and students,teachers and students show improper care.The existence of these two kinds of teacher-student relationship will also lead to the aggravation of the contradiction between teachers and students.The crux of this problem lies in the lack of caring interaction between teachers and students.The reason for this problem is due to lack of caring ability of teachers and students.The famous American educator Nel Noddings put forward a set of the theory of "caring".She thinks that a caring relationship should be established between teachers and students.Teachers,as caregivers,should send out rational caring behaviors according to students' specific needs.Students,as caregivers,should also accept?recognize and respond to teachers' caring behaviors.Only in this way can caring relationship be achieved set up.In order to improve the current situation of conflict and opposition between teachers and students,and improve the quality of care of teachers and students,this paper attempts to solve the following four problems from the perspective of nodding's care theory: why do we need teachers and students care?
