"Anti-fan" is a part of the spectrum of fanculture, referring to the groups that are involved in the consumption and production of the text with negative emotions(criticism,disgust,etc.).This phenomenon has gradually developed during the growth of Chinese internet social media. This essay focuses combing and analyzing the behavior and motivation on Guo`s anti-fandom under the theoretical frame of fan culture,a strand of cultural studies and audience studies. Our methodologies are mainly netnography, text analysis and in-depth interviews. The essay views Guo`s anti-fandom as a complaint, not a simple consumer.Their consuming habits present a two-way flow to both the primary text and the edge of tertiary text, with the features of discrete group relationship,male-centered mentality and anti-commercial rhetoric. When it comes to anti-fandom`s motivation, this article attribute it to the competition of the symbolic capital, under which is the anxiety and identity crisis of young people in the mediated world brought by the survival experience of modern resistance. This paper discusses the competition of symbolic capital and the resistance illusion of internet. After all the negotiation of differing meanings in public sphere have been offered by anti-fandom,rational demands of communication are easily ignored by them,“critical thinking” maybe another kind of consumerism and become the presentation of self in everyday life.
