Since Chinese reform and opening up in 1978,the process of urbanization has been accelerating.More and more rural youth labor force choose to be urban migrant workers,and showed the trend of rejuvenation.However,due to the restriction of their own economic conditions,household registration systems of urban and rural areas,regional education resources protection and other factors,the vast majority of migrant workers can not solve the problems such as learning in kinder-garden,without care,and other aspects of realistic problems.Children have to stay in the countryside,separated from their parents,which leads to a large number of left behind children in rural preschool education.Henan province,with a large number of left-behind children in preschool education in rural areas,is a large province of agriculture and migrant workers,and the mean education resources of the province are limited.It is a great significance to study the current situation of preschool education about left-behind children,to focus on left-behind children and improve the quality of preschool education on rural children.In this paper,the left-behind children in Town A,Zhumadian City,Henan Province,as the research object,through the form of questionnaire to understand the situation of children left behind,the initial analysis of the left-behind children’s family pre-school education problems and causes was performed.According to the survey results,special interviews for the subject of pre-school education,supplement of the left-behind children’s pre-school education,and in-depth analysis of the reasons on rural children left behind for pre-school education are given.According to the results of questionnaire and interviews,there are some advantages in the local preschool education:(1)the preschool children’s preschool education penetration rate is relatively high.(2)the concept of preschool education for migrant workers is relatively scientific and are willing to return home.(3)The kindergarten leader are willing to improve the local quality of kindergarten.But the level of pre-school education need to be improved.Preschool children’s pre-school education issues include:(1)Communication can not solve problems which the left-behind children lack of emotional care from parents.(2)The main caregivers do not know enough about the importance of kindergarten,focus on parenting,and the content of education is one-sided.(3)Kindergarten principals are willing to improve the kindergarten issues on which teaching equipment is not perfect,teachers are not strong,and school bus overload problems,but due to lack of funds,little can be performed.(4)The number of kindergarten teachers is small,quality is uneven,mobility is strong;and teaching content is one-sided.(5)There is little cooperation between parents and kindergarten,and left-behind children are lack of care.After further analysis,the reasons are attributed to:(1)Grass-roots government lack of support for kindergarten funding,kindergarten teaching content,school bus supervision,pre-school education advocacy,protection measures for left-behind children,attracting children left home to return home business economic and technical support.(2)The main caregiver pre-school education concept is not scientific,and without professional guidance.(3)Rural children teachers are in low threshold and payment,with little training.In order to improve the preschool education level of children left behind in Town A,it is urgent to implement the three aspects: to strengthen the grassroots government responsibility,to improve the top design of pre-school education and to strengthen the construction of teachers training.
