Nowadays,As the body to use big data and collect information related to the economic and social in China,Government statistics has the duty to provide data support to help macro economic decision-making and policy making for all levels of government.With the rapid development of information industry in the 21 st century,the generation of the big data change the data collection,processing and application a lot.This situation challenge the management system,organization setup,data value for government statistics in China.In the face of the demand for data of economic market and administrative functions,to realize the change and improvement of government statistics under the background,China has a long way to go.In this paper,combining with the concept and features of the current big data,to search for the correspondency of government statistics and big data.Using the important opportunity of big data and giving the relating problems of government statistics reform a further research.The article is divided into the following several parts,First,this paper make theoretical definition to the concept of big data as well as government statistics,then search deeply into the correlation of these two.Secondly,analysising generally of our government statistics' present situation in China.Aiming at the flied of problems in the method,process,carrier mechanism of government statistics,this paper summarizing it objectively.Finally,combing with the examples of government statistics in China under the condition of big data,this paper induces the correct direction of tendency and innovation.This paper hope that through the exploration of big data,the data from government statistics will be more comprehensive,the content will be safer,the analysis will be more accurate and the application will be more extensive.The administrative information under the new normal can be more correctly and the economic and political trends can be better predict.Government statistics may design more big data statistical application through the change of thinking,ideas and methods.Reducing the production cost of government statistics,shorten production cycle data and optimize the distribution channels.
