The new curriculum reform in less developed areas is not optimistic in our country.Most junior high school chemistry teachers still teach students by the one-way knowledge infusion and there are less effective interactions in class,and students' position as the subject of study is deprived.So building a new teaching model which encourage students' active participation in class has become a problem to be solved.In recent years,researchers and teachers gradually adopt the way of inquiry learning and in this way the effect of teaching is improved.But the problem is that it is difficult for students to ask effective questions from the context.Project-based learning here is just a teaching model which concentrates on helping students to ask questions,explore problems,cultivate critical thinking,cooperate and practice.Based on the investigation to the situation of New Curriculum Reform in Yan'an,the thesis aims to research the project-based learning practice in junior high school chemistry in Yan'an city,which can enhance teachers' understanding and perception of classroom teaching,students and help their students how to ask questions effectively in class.The first chapter focuses on the analysis of domestic and international research literature,the analysis of the domestic practice cases,and establishes the research contents,research methods and research significance.The second chapter mainly introduces the theoretical basis of the study,and defines the core concepts.The third chapter mainly investigates and analyzes teaching facilities,teachers and their teaching,students and their study,and have in-depth interviews with chemistry teachers.The result shows that utilization of the chemical laboratory,multimedia and other hardware facilities is not high;teachers have tried to improve teaching methods,but the methods are not very effective;students have less interests in learning chemistry and lack of their initiatives.The fourth chapter mainly introduces the empirical research on Project-based Chemistry Teaching in junior middle school.From the views of project theme,learning content design,a comprehensive evaluation design,the paper constructs the specific implementation of Project-based learning in junior middle school chemistry teaching,clarifies students' and teachers' respective roles in the classroom teaching,and provides some references for the development of Project-based learning in Chemistry Teaching in junior middle school.The fifth chapter introduces the experimental results and data analysis.The main contents include the interview of the students in the experimental class,the comparative analysis of the questionnaire after the experiment,and the analysis of the test results before and after the experiment.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part,which summarizes the whole teaching design,the experimental process and the deficiency,and gives some reasonable suggestions and prospects.
