| The Ministry of Education pointed out that we should take the development of core literacy in chemistry as the main purpose and establish a high school chemistry classroom that adapts to the diversified development needs of high school students in the newly revised 2017 High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards. On the basis of the basic concept of choosing chemistry curriculum contents that reflect scientific foundation and modern values,we should create realistic chemistry problem situations and focus on cultivating the innovative spirit and practical ability of high school students. With the reform idea in the context of the new curriculum standards,we must change the traditional teaching methods and try to introduce a new teaching model in order to better meet the needs of the new curriculum standards. With the constructivist concept as the theoretical guide,project-based learning is to put students in real problem situations and carry out investigative activities through group cooperation. On this basis, students gradually master the relevant knowledge and acquire the corresponding ability, which can add to the cultivation of innovative talents and is consistent with the educational philosophy involved in the new curriculum.Gan culture is the regional culture of Jiangxi, and as a branch of Chinese culture,in a broad sense,it refers to the sum of material and spiritual wealth created in Jiangxi from ancient times to the present, and many of these cultures are inextricably linked to chemical knowledge. In order to seek a new design idea for front-line teachers the author attempts to use Gan culture as a context to find the knowledge associated with it in high school chemistry textbooks and combine it with project-based learning practice in the context of the current reform of high school chemistry education. This study mainly adopts the literature research method, questionnaire survey method, experimental research method and interview method, including the following specific research contents.1.This study adopts the literature research method to systematically sort out and summarize the concept of Gan culture, the status of domestic research and the concept of project-based learning, the status of domestic and foreign research, the design process, and the theoretical basis involved.2.The current situation of implementing project-based learning in high school chemistry classrooms was investigated and analyzed by using a questionnaire survey.Based on the results of the study,I combined Gan culture with project-based learning and built a framework for the project-based learning model of high school chemistry integrating Gan culture, and used porcelain culture and tea culture as examples for the teaching design.3.In this paper,we used "chemistry in tea culture" as the teaching content, and adopted the conventional teaching mode for the control class and the project-based learning mode for the experimental class. We analyzed the effectiveness of the project-based learning from three dimensions: the project-based learning evaluation scale of the experimental class, the learning performance of the control class and the experimental class, and the post-class interview of the experimental students.4.Based on the practical analysis, this study draws the following experimental conclusions:(1)It is feasible for Gan culture to enter the high school chemistry classroom through the project-based learning model(2)The application of project-based learning can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning chemistry and improve their academic performance(3)Project-based learning can improve students’ practical ability and comprehensive quality(4)Project-based learning can promote the students’ quality education implementation. |
