Research On Supporting System Of Entrepreneurship Education In American Community College

In recent years,Chinese government and relevant departments have been attaching great importance to the development of entrepreneurship education in order to meet the needs that unemployment problems caused by expansion of higher education and deal with the economic development mode transformation.Because entrepreneurship education can benefit for cultivating entrepreneurial talents and improving competitive employment market and stimulating our economy.And the Higher Vocational Colleges where are the best places for cultivating skilled personnel.So the development of entrepreneurship education in higher vocational education is an important measure to improve the employment rate and promote economic development.At the same time,the Ministry of Education in China issued �The Higher Vocational Education Innovation and Development Action Plan� on 9th November,2015.The Action Plan pointed out: strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges to significantly increase overall strength of higher vocational education,improve the structure and quality of cultivating talents much reasonably and sustainably,improve the capacity of servicing �China manufacturing 2025 � and economic,social development,promote structural optimization of higher education is more obvious,which makes system of modern vocational education more prefect through three years of construction.Whereas,entrepreneurship education in China started very late,supporting system of entrepreneurship education is not perfect,and Community Colleges in the United States and the Higher Vocational Colleges in China carry out similar functions in vocational education.The entrepreneurship education in American Community College has formed a rather mature system,so this paper explores the supporting system of entrepreneurship education in American Community College firstly,and then analyzes the development process of entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges in China,and finally puts forward suggestions to perfect entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges in China.This paper is divided into 6 sections.Including: introduction,chapter 1 to chapter 5 as the body and conclusion.And the introduction consists of six parts as the reason and significance of the research,research proposes and meanings,literature review,concept definition,research layout and method,research main points and challenges.In Sect.1,mainly introduces the background and development of entrepreneurship education in American Community Colleges from the external background,including: social,political,economic and cultural factors and the development of their own factors.And this paper discusses the development of entrepreneurship education in American Community Colleges from 1970 s to the present;In Sect.2,introduces the supporting system of entrepreneurship education during the process of development in American Community College from three factors: funding and policy,education and training,service and insurance.Also,from the perspective of the support of the main body: the government,the school and non-profit and non-governmental organizations to explain how the main body to support the development of entrepreneurship education in American Community Colleges from these three dimensions;In Sect.3,takes Kentucky Community and Technical College System and Lansing Community College as examples,from the Small Business Center,NACCE,Federal or State government and local government committee,these main bodies to analyze what they did for entrepreneurship education in Community Colleges in America.Then,according to the different supporting systems of these two community colleges,summarizes the characteristics of them.In Sect.4,firstly,analyze the reference possibility of American Community Colleges' entrepreneurship education supporting system to supporting system of entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges in China;And explore the problems in Higher Vocational Colleges in China;Then,give recommendations for developing supporting system in Higher Vocational Colleges in China.Finally,summarizes this paper,and looks forward to the future of entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges in China.
