Study On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Management Of Public Stadium In Dongguan Township

These years,sports have been developing at an extraordinary speed in China.More and more sports communications are happening at home and abroad.Many cities in china have devoted a great deal of fund to building different kinds of sports facilities due to the requirement of hosting comprehensive sports meetings.After the end of those sports meetings,many newly-built stadiums and gymnasiums have become local landmarks because of their respective unique designs.How to make the most of and mange these stadiums and gymnasiums which could both serve professional sporting events and public bodybuilding has become a focus for the sports market and research.So far,most studies on sports facilities done in China focus on the big stadiums and gymnasiums while not enough attention has been paid to the small and medium ones which are located in different non-centered areas.The present thesis focuses on several typical public stadiums and gymnasiums located in different towns and districts of Dongguan by means of questionnaire,document overview and mathematical statistics.It explores and studies the basic facts,managing systems and current managing situations of them with the purpose of finding out the causes and origins of the relevant problems.At last,it comes to a conclusion and puts forward some suggestions:1.conclusiona.with the improvement of managers' managing methods and philosophy,the industrialized management of the stadiums and gymnasiums in Dongguan shows some early achievements such as hosting some high-level professional sports games and effectively maintaining and preserving the sports facilities at a low cost as a result of which some economic and social effects have been generated.b.problems like low utilization ratio,lack of professional personnel,few services offered and outdated managing philosophy are common to the stadiums and gymnasiums in Dongguan.They seriously frustrate the effective management and development of the stadiums and gymnasiums.c.According to the study which investigates stadiums and gymnasiums of Dongguan two years ago,the above-mentioned managing problems haven't been corrected yet.The pace of the reform in management is slow.They should change with the times and the relevant reform should be speeded up.2.suggestionsa.the local government of Dongguan should learn and implement the relevant laws and regulations recently passed by the country,reasonably plan and build stadiums and gymnasiums and effectively learn from the other cities' successful experiences in developing sports industry.b.the local government of Dongguan should support the construction and development of sports facilities in land use,devote more fund to it and try to reduce the tax burden of the stadiums and gymnasiums.c.the local government of Doongguan should attach more importance to developing PE education and cooperate with professional schools and coaches to cultivate professional personnel with sports background in managing the professional stadiums and gymnasium.d.try to improve the utilization ratio of the stadiums and gymnasiums by hosting national and international sports games and satisfying the mental requirement of the public.
