Since the beginning of twentieth Century,the developed countries have turned the scientific education goal to improve the scientific literacy of the whole people,and all of them have formed the important scientific concept as the core task of scientific literacy in the year of 80 s.As an important field of science education in our country,chemical education should be regarded as the core task.On the basis of combing the research results of existing chemical core ideas,this paper puts forward the "Four Strategies" of chemistry core ideas teaching based on the teaching idea of "Four Strategies" proposed by Professor Wang Cunkuan,taking the teaching of "covalent bond" as an example,the paper verifies the effectiveness of the “Four Strategies” in the teaching of chemistry core ideas.This paper includes six parts as follows:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reason of choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research.The scientific literacy of citizens in our country lags far behind the developed countries.The purpose of this paper is to promote the teaching of chemistry core ideas,to solve the practical problems in teaching,to change the way of classroom teaching and to promote the improvement of students' subject quality.The second part is a literature review.This paper reviews the current research status of chemistry core ideas teaching at home and abroad,summarizes the existing research results,determines the research direction,and prepares for further research.The third part puts forward and expounds the theoretical basis of this research.On the basis of combing chemistry and its relationship with chemical core,this paper expounds the main viewpoints of constructivist theory and conceptual curriculum teaching theory.The third part puts forward and expounds the theoretical basis of this research.On the basis of combing chemistry core ideas and its relationship with the core quality of chemistry,this paper expounds the main points of the theory of constructivism and the theory of curriculum teaching.The fourth part focuses on the teaching of chemistry core ideas Summed up the existing teaching chemistry core ideas,put forward for chemistry core ideas teaching the "Four Strategies",the formation of a more systematic concept of teaching strategies.The fifth part focuses on the analysis of the effectiveness of the "Four Strategies".Based on the concept of structure in chemical concept,the author puts forward the basic problems existing in covalent bond,designs the teaching,carries on the practice research and uses SPSS statistical software to carry on the statistical examination to the teaching effect according to the instruction and the request of the "Four Strategies",Validated the effectiveness of the "Four Strategies" in the teaching of chemistry.The sixth part summarizes the research conclusion,elaborated the "Four Strategies" teaching thoughts and teaching practice through the test chemical concept teaching "Four Strategies",and the further research and the shortcomings of the research in the future.
