objective:In competitive sports, sports mental fatigue will lead athletes to the poor performance in the training and competition, and even produce serious mental health problems.Based on Encephalofluctuogram Technology,we explored the neurotransmitter mechanism of central fatigue induced by long-term cognitive task. Methods: The Flanker task was used as the independent variable,ET index, behavior data and HRV as the dependent variable.By a pretest and posttest of 38 undergraduates from Ningbo University, the dissertation examined whether cognitive processing can induce central fatigue and the change of S lineage through behavioral data and heart rate variability.Results:(1)The correct rate and response time of different time periods showed a significance decreasing trend(p<0.01,p<0.05);(2)The overall standard deviation of heart rate variability and the change of heart rate which reflect the fast change components before and after the experiment were significantly increased(p<0.01,p<0.01);(3)The high-frequency power values decreased significantly(p<0.05),The low-band power values, low frequency and high frequency power values did not show significant difference(p>0.05);(4)The S4 lineage representing serotonin increased significantly(p<0.01),the other inhibitory neurotransmitters did not show significant differences(p>0.05)(5)The S6 lineage which on behalf of the strong neurotransmitter was significantly decreased(p<0.01),the other excitatory neurotransmitters did not show significant difference(p>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Long-term cognitive task will cause the reduction of correct rate, shorten the response time and vagal component of HRV increased;(2)Long-term cognitive task triggered a significant increase in S4,suggesting that S4 was a sensitive indicator of cognitive central fatigue;(3)Long cognitive task did not cause the increase of inhibitory transmitter and the decrease of excitatory delivery.
