In the wave of global ecologicalization,quality ideas and actions of higher education are undergoing a profound change: the change is to adapt to the increasingly fierce competition of the global ecological needs for people with top,sophisticated,advanced talent,but also to meet the standard requirements of global ecological diversity,it is the pursuit of inclusive excellence quality construction,which is different from the traditional absolutely elite education,University of Denver becomes a successful transformation of contemporary representative,also naturally into our research field.This paper uses University of Denver as a case,during which using educational social ecology research paradigm,country-based research framework and comparative method and literature method.This research is focused on University of Denver's inclusive excellence quality objects,ideas and practices.This paper is divided into six parts.The introduction part introduces the background,significance,research status,contents and methods,highlights on the quality requirements and methods of inclusive excellence in global development and the application of ecological values;The first chapter discusses the basic concept of inclusive excellence quality construction,which reveals the era connotation and theoretical foundation;the second chapter analyzes the basic track and the stage development of inclusive excellence quality construction in the University of Denver,therefore striving for the achievement of inclusive excellence;the third chapter systematically studied the form of inclusive excellence quality construction,typically depict the inclusive excellence quality infrastructure goals which closely followed University of Denver,overall infrastructure subject which inspired staffs,inclusive excellence quality construction contents,the creation and development of inclusive excellence quality construction,inclusive excellence quality infrastructure methods and practical actions;the fourth chapter summarizes and reveals some effectives and traits of inclusive excellence,and some possible problems given from inclusive excellence quality construction,therefore giving some suggestions;the last chapter points out some problems which exists in Chinese elite schools' quality construction,like to be dogmatize,to be absolute,and to be formalize.Then putting forward the corresponding suggestions to establish a people-oriented concept of quality,promote the curriculum,teaching,research and development of diversity,conserve culture in Chinese higher education.
