Research On The Relationship Of Cultural Capital Of Preschoolers' Families And Parent-child Game Activities

This study is based on the French sociologist bourdieu's theory of "cultural capital" as the Angle of view.This paper probes the relationship between family cultural capital and parent-child game.Via a questionnaire designed by the author:< cultural capital of preschoolers' families and parent-child game >as a research tool,the research investigated into 543 children's family from five kindergartens in Harbin.Describing the situation of children's family cultural capital and the current situation of parent-child games.Through canonical correlation analysis method to reveal the relationship between them.This study can provide parent-child game's theory research with some reference,at the same time it can provide family parent-child game's development a certain practical significance.The first chapter and the second chapter discusses the research background,research purpose and meaning,research contents and research innovation of the research;Related concept definition,the domestic and foreign literature review,research progress and the related research achievements in the field of,the deficiencies and problems that need further study;Specific research method,selection and distribution of the sample,questionnaire design,test and revision and analysis techniques and tools.The third chapter mainly discusses the results of the study and analysis.The study found that parents have wider interests;Inadequate of parents' current leisure time arrangements;Parents pay attention to create the environment and condition for parent-child games;Objective capital mainly are electronic equipment and family learning tools,and other objective capital are shortage;The level of parents' education are generally high;Mother's professional status is slightly lower than father's.Most parents have a quite scientific and reasonable understanding of family parent-child games;Parents have higher initiative for parent-child games;Most parents pay attention to create the environment and condition for parent-child games;Most parents pay much attention to parent-child games' intervention.Through canonical correlation analysis,the children's family object cultural capital and body cultural capital have significant correlation with parent-child games;Institutionalization of family cultural capital andthe family parent-child games also exists significant correlation.The fourth chapter is based on the analysis of status,under the guidance of bourdieu's theory of culture,author put forward to the strategies for promoting parent-child games effectively.Strategies include: Parents can raise the awareness of participate in parent-child games,enhance the initiative of participate in parent-child game;Parents should make full use of spare time to strengthen learning,to raise their cultural accomplishment;Optimized object family capital allocation,raise the use efficiency of household object capital;Parents should pay attention to children's growth,Spend more time with children.
