Research On Investigation And Countermeasures Of Junior High School Students' Idol Worship

Idol worship is common among junior high school students,and idols affect the personality development and spiritual life of junior high school students in their own special way,especially for the worship of stars.Idolatry has caused many psychological and social problems,which has aroused widespread concern by educational scholars and sociologists.This paper takes the junior middle school students as the research object,using interview and questionnaire,to carry out a survey on the idol worship of junior high school students.The paper analyzes the reasons and problems of the existence of idol worship of junior middle school students,and puts forward some suggestions.The introduction of this article includes the problem,concept definition,research status at home and abroad,research significance,theoretical basis and research methods.On the basis of theoretical research,a questionnaire of idol worship among junior high school students is compiled.The questionnaire includes four dimensions:Infatuation mentality,entertainment and social relationship,relationship fantasy,and emotional projection,with 22 items taken into consideration.The results show that85.7% of the subjects have their own worship idols.The idol types from high to low order are: singers and movie stars,sports stars,business celebrities and entrepreneurs,scientists,teachers,parents,relatives and friends,celebrities in politics,history and the military,cultural celebrities,famous cartoon stars.The content of idolatry is as follows:emotional projection,infatuation mentality,entertainment and social relationship and relationship fantasy.At the same time,there is no gender difference and grade difference in idol worship of junior high school students.This paper analyzes the reasons of idol worship of junior high school students from four aspects: junior high school students themselves,school education,family education and social aspects.At the same time,countermeasures are put forward in six aspects and they are: application of idol education into daily teaching,strengthening of students' self education,adopting scientific education methods,enriching campus culture,improving the effectiveness of model education and cultivating students' right media literacy.
