With the popularization of higher education,the foundation of mathematics knowledge of students in higher vocational colleges is uneven,But as a basic course in higher vocational colleges,mathematics belongs to the "intensity framework" curriculum which has no immediate or direct contact with specialized courses,and mathematics teachers in higher vocational colleges also can not adapt to the current situation,which results in the low efficiency of advanced mathematics class teaching.The popularization of information technology brings opportunities and challenges to education and teaching as well as rich teaching resources for school education,which will promote the reform of educational ideas,teaching methods and modes.Traditional class teaching mode doesn't adapt to the present higher vocational mathematics teaching,resulting in students' difficulty in learning and teachers' difficulty in teaching.However,that doesn't mean no way to go.Mathematica is a set of highly optimized professional software,rules of grammar and expression very close to the mathematical way of thinking and expressing.In teaching practice we found that although the mathematical foundation of higher vocational students is weak,they have a certain psychological advantage in operating software.Therefore,based on the idea,that is higher vocational students learn mathematics for applying not for studying,the author thinks that it is feasible to apply Mathematica software package to higher vocational mathematics teaching,which is equivalent to finding an“assistant” for mathematics teachers and a “helper” for students.This subject aims at teaching mode study of mathematics curriculum in higher vocational colleges,firstly it explains several basic concepts such as the mathematics curriculum,teaching mode of higher vocational colleges and Mathematica system,and then introduces the present teaching situation of mathematics course in higher vocational colleges,expounds some understanding and thinking for teaching elements of mathematics curriculum,including higher vocational teachers,students,teaching materials and class teaching environment,and next,based on the in-depth study of the constructivism teaching theory,proximal development theory,multiple intelligences theory,self-efficacy theory and affective teaching theory,on the basis of domestic and foreign subject teaching model,higher vocationalmathematics teaching mode which uses Mathematica as the auxiliary tool is constructed,and at last,this subject introduces one practical case and makes reflection on it.Specifically,this paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the topic,research methods and ideas,as well as present study status of mathematical teaching mode both at home and abroad,and some core concepts of this topic is made clear.The second chapter mainly expounds the nature,function and present teaching status of higher vocational mathematics teaching.The third chapter mainly analyzes several problems,including teachers,students' learning situation,teaching materials and class teaching environment of higher vocational mathematics teaching.The fourth chapter,based on the theory of constructivism,self-efficacy theory and emotional teaching theory,analyzes the conditions for the realization of putting mathematical software into higher vocational mathematics teaching,constructs the basic framework of higher vocational mathematics teaching model with Mathematica as auxiliary teaching tool,and put forward the corresponding teaching strategies.The fifth chapter introduces a classroom teaching case of "digital characteristics of random variables",and makes case analysis and reflection on it.
