Research On The Subject-Selections Of Master's Degree Theses In Geography Teaching Education From 2011 To 2016 Years In China

The development of teacher professionalization is closely related to the development of education in China,and the cultivation of the Master of Education is one of the most important ways to improve teachers' professionalization.The theses to some extent reflect the training quality of master education.The more serious of papers topic selecting,the higher probability for the completion of thesis writing.In order to understand the characteristics and problems in the current thesis of master education in Geography Teaching,taking 238 dissertations of the Masters of Education in Geography Teaching from 2011 to 2016 in Northeast Normal University,Fujian Normal University and East China Normal University as the sample.By using the methods of bibliometrics,content analysis and comparative analysis,the author holds a study into the selection of theses topics of the Master of Education in Geography Teaching.Research shows that:The main research fields are extensive and comprehensive,but unbalanced,emphasizing on the study of teaching and curriculum,showing more interests in the study of teaching strategy,auxiliary teaching media,module education and comparison of course materials.There are still many problems in the topic selection,such as the lack of innovative,higher repeatability of the similar subject,fuzzy research objects and programmed research process expression.In order to optimize the quality of thesis in Geography Master Education,some strategies should be explored.For example,increasing more educational practice opportunities,strengthening the construction of the tutor team and the study of theoretical course,paying much attention to the topic selection and the development of education,taking the topic selection process seriously and so on.
