In the language learning process,listening comprehension ability has a direct influence on language acquisition and the grasp of some basic skills.As a complicated psychological process and cognitive activity,listening comprehension can be deeply affected by emotional factors.Anxiety,as one of the most crucial emotional factors in language learning,closely relates to the learning results of language learners.As for the senior high school students who are under the pressure of Gaokao,listening comprehension makes them even more stressful and anxious.Therefore,the relation between language learning anxiety among senior high school students from different grades and their English listening ability is worth studying.This study adopted empirical study method,the questionnaire survey being adopted;and to record datum,the SPSS 17.0 0 software were applied for analysis of variance,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The different degrees of anxiety of senior high school students,the correlation between senior high school students' language learning anxiety and listening comprehension ability,and the main reasons for English listening anxiety of senior high school students in three different grades are suggested.In the end,according to the main factors resulted in the difference on the degree of anxiety from three grades,some solutions are offered to reduce the English listening anxiety.This study discovers the relevance between language learning anxiety and students'English listening comprehension ability from different grades in senior high schools,which is meaningful either from theoretical or practical perspective.Theoretically,this study further reveals the nature of the influence of the language learning anxiety by clarifying that the degree of anxiety among students from different grades in senior high is different,and uncovering the relevance and grades tendency between the language learning anxiety and the listening comprehension ability.Practically,according to the various reasons of the language learning anxiety,English teachers are supposed to start with the most important factors during the English listening teaching and training,thus to reduce the period of English listening ability enhancement and effectively improve students' listening comprehension ability.
