In the process of foreign language acquisition,many language experts and teachers has focused on middle school English teaching.Language teaching researchers note that anxiety is also a very important affective variable in the process of two language acquisition.So the emotional factors that affect language learning have become the mainstream of the research.However,English Teaching in primary and secondary schools in our country is still in essence a teacher centered teaching model.Over the years,junior middle school English Teaching in China has attached more importance on reading and writing ability and grammatical ability.To a certain extent,it has neglected the training of hearing and oral ability,so that quite a few students lack the listening ability.The study of anxiety abroad began in 80 s,while the domestic research began in 90 s.Most scholars have studied the phenomenon of anxiety in the process of foreign language learning,and the study of anxiety in the process of listening is very little.This topic takes junior middle school students as the research object.Based on the theory of constructivism and the hypothesis of emotional filtering,combined with teaching practice,through questionnaires,teacher interviews,classroom observation and other empirical studies,it is found that junior middle school English listening anxiety exists objectively,and listening anxiety is negatively correlated with listening performance.Experimental study was carried out for two months Juying school in Hengshui City,116 junior school students as the research objects,to explore the degree of language anxiety on English Listening Teaching in junior middle school;the impact of language anxiety on English listening comprehension;the reduction of language anxiety,the research tools used in this paper are questionnaire,interview,pre-test and post-test.According to the results of the questionnaire survey,the main reasons for the students' hearing anxiety are found out.Most junior high school students have a high level of language anxiety;most junior high school students have poor ability to control their emotions,lack of knowledge accumulation,lack of cultural background knowledge,poor listening habits,influence of emotional and external environment,teachers' attitude and teaching methods and skills.The author has proved several feasible and effective measures to reduce language anxiety.
