Learning procrastination refers to the idea that students have to complete their own learning tasks in a specific learning situation.However,due to some other circumstances,the task will be postponed,resulting in the failure to perform the prescribed tasks in a timely manner.It is also an act that may produce some kind of bad emotional experience.This delaying behavior will not only affect the completion of study and work,but may also bring adverse physiological effects to the procrastinators themselves.This research mainly studied the procrastination of primary school students through self-administered questionnaire survey and interviews.The research mainly focused on the students from the grade three to the grade five of two primary schools in Yantai.The self-made questionnaire was used to compile the questionnaire on the status quo of primary school pupils’ learning delays.Then the questionnaire was used to survey the self-administered questionnaires.The current situation of primary school students is delayed,and the corrective measures are proposed based on the analysis of the current situation.At the same time,the interview method was used to understand the procrastination of the pupils in the specific learning situation,the proneness of the pupils to procrastination and the causes of the delay,and then put forward the corresponding educational measures according to the reasons.According to investigations,school children’s academic delays are common,but the majority of students are not prone to procrastination.Only a small number of students often experience academic delays.From the perspective of population variables,there is a gender difference in the extent of school procrastination found among primary school students.Boys are significantly higher than girls.There are fewer cases of learning delays in girls at the primary school level.It is also found that non-only children are more likely to learn than only children.Procrastination;There are also differences in the grade level,the degree of academic delay in the third and fourth grades is lower than the fifth grade,and there is no significant difference in the degree of academic delay in the third and fourth grades.From the aspect of delayed content performance,primary school students’ procrastination in learning is prone to delays in the study plan,and delays in proforma preparation or preparation are notserious.The main reason for the delay in schooling among pupils is the difficulty of tasks and time management.This research mainly from the school,teachers,parents and their own four aspects to find the reasons for the primary school students to delay learning,and from these four aspects put forward the corresponding educational strategies.Schools should create a diligent and classy learning atmosphere,build a complete class system;teachers should improve teaching methods and improve management;parents should create a harmonious family atmosphere and optimize family education;students should enhance their self-efficacy and self-improvement.responsibility.Combining the strengths of these four aspects together to help pupils effectively reduce unnecessary delays in learning.
