A Study On English Listening And Speaking Online Homework Design In Primary School

As a communicative language,English has strong instrumentality,and English teaching also has instrumentality.English teaching should pay attention to developing students' abilities to use language in primary school,thus to reflect its instrumentality.To develop students' abilities to use language,teachers should make full use of both classroom teaching and homework.However,the effect of homework on students' English learning is difficult to reflect in traditional teaching.How to use homework to help students review and use language knowledge and how to improve their English listening and speaking skills has become a problem that contemporary English teachers should consider.The emergence of English listening and speaking online homework provides students with a new style of homework which solves the drawbacks of traditional teaching.However,there are few studies on how teachers design listening and speaking online homework and how to better use online platforms to improve students' English performance.This paper focus on solving this problem.With the help of online platform's rich resources and various learning modules,this paper explore how to design listening and speaking online homework based on online platform to motivate students' learning motivation and interest.It mainly studies from the following three aspects: firstly,this paper expounds the basis of listening and speaking online homework design from two aspects of primary school students' physical and mental characteristics and theoretical basis.Secondly,it puts forward the principles of online homework design for primary school English listening and speaking,and discusses how to design English listening and speaking online homework from the aspects of form,content and type.Finally,the paper uses English listening and speaking online homework design and interviews teachers,students and parents and to evaluate the research subjects,then analyzes the effect of the application of online homework design in this paper.The paper specifically discusses how to design listening and speaking online homework in primary English.Main conclusions in this paper includes: with listening and speaking online homework,students' homework completion rate increases,students' English performance improves steadily,interests in learning is obviouslyenhanced,and various forms of online homework are more conducive to students' all-round development;timely feedback function of online homework reduces pressure of primary school teachers,and online homework provides teachers with a theoretical guidance on English listening and speaking online homework design in primary school.
