Although a function teaching in junior middle school and senior middle school is relatively independent,a closed connection of a function teaching in two stages plays an important role in improving the teaching quality.Middle school teaching belongs to the basic education and junior middle school education is the basis of senior middle school education.Many students after entering a senior middle school generally show different levels of non adaptation to mathematics teaching,and lose the confidence and interest in the new stage,which influences the follow-up study.How to learn the mathematics knowledge in a senior middle school on the basis of a junior middle school study and how to make the student to adapt the school mathematics study as soon as possible are a topic worth studying earnestly.Based on modern educational theories,such as cognitive development and constructivist theory,this paper chooses the contents of a function teaching in junior middle school and senior middle school to analyze curriculum standards,teaching material designs and teaching material contents.By means of questionnaires and interviews,in the middle school of Luancheng County of Hebei Province,the author makes a survey of a connection of a function teaching in the two stages and deeply understands the current situation of a connection of a function teaching,including a grasp of function knowledge,students' learning interest,learning habit and different cognition of function teaching from teachers,etc.Through the investigation and analysis,the author knows that students from junior middle schools in Luancheng county do not have a good grasp of function knowledge.It forms a barrier for effective connections of function teaching between junior middle schools and senior middle schools;no strong interest in learning function;no good study habits;students prefer teachers to use multimedia in the teaching process.Through the interview,the author also finds several factors influencing students' interest in learning,including students' learning basis,students' psychological characteristics and teaching methods,etc.,and the limited time,initiative,difficulty and school system affect students' study habits.On the basis of the questionnaire and interview record,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the teaching.1.For students,adjust their mentality,adapt to the environment and enhance their interest in learning;Establish good learning mathematics habits and improve learning efficiency.2.For teachers,care about students,love students,help them to spend the adaptation period as soon as possible;Show individual charm,enrich classroom activities,stimulate students' interest in learning;It attaches importance to the difference and relationship between primary and high school function knowledge,and completes the function content.Make full use of information technology to make function teaching more intuitive and promote the transition of junior high school function knowledge;It attaches importance to the teaching of function image,and builds bridges for the function knowledge of elementary and high school.3.For teaching materials,try to choose a system of teaching materials in the selection of teaching materials.4.For school or department in charge,try to organize as many observation activities as possible to strengthen the communication of the teachers.Based on the research and analysis,the author hope to improve the connection effect of a function teaching in the middle school of Luancheng County,and also hope to promote the function teaching of middle school in a wider range.
