The 2017 edition of the Ordinary High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard clearly states that the function is part of the prerequisite knowledge and is a knowledge that must be mastered by senior high school students.The function’s maximum value is one of the most important contents of the function throughout the entire high school period,and it is also closely associated with trigonometric functions,sequences,vectors,derivatives,etc.the maximum value of the function is complex and it is difficult for students to master the method of solving the problem.It is a difficult problem for most senior students.In this article,through the literature method,the survey method,the interview method and the case analysis method,the maximum of function teaching in Senior Grade One in xx city is studied.Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,Weiner’s success or failure attribution theory,Ausubel’s migration theory,and Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development theory,the causes of the convergence problems of the maximum of function teaching between middle school and senior high school are explored.Through the research,three main factors that cause the problem of teaching convergence are found: the jump of the difficulty of the related content between middle school and senior high school,the difference of teachers’ teaching methods,the inappropriateness of students’ study habits and strategies.In order to facilitate the smooth transition of the teaching of the highest-level and high-level functions,the following solutions are proposed based on the above problems.Solutions to the teaching content: Find out the similarities and differences between the teaching contents of junior high school and high school,grasp the similarities and differences,and teach students to use the combination of junior high school knowledge to solve high school contents.The strategies of solving the influencing factors of teachers and students are: teachers should constantly optimize their teaching methods to enrich their professional knowledge,and at the same time pay attention to the integration of emotional teaching.Students should seek solutions from both intellectual and non-intellectual factors.If a senior high school student wants to make a smooth transition to high school,he or she needs to cooperate with each other.The study of the function of the most value based on teaching convergence is not only to make the connection of the function of the most value teaching,but also to provide some valuablesuggestions for the teaching convergence of the entire junior or high school mathematics knowledge.Its significance lies not only in itself.
