In recent years,China?s position has been rising as a phenomena not only in Asian region but also in international scale.As the relationship between Vietnam and Chinese is growing positively,the number of people studying Chinese language significantly increases,which creates a trend of learning Chinese.Noticing the importance of this language,Chinese language education has been listed as one of the key features in national education.In recent decades,Mandarin has been brought to one of the official categories of high school education program in Vietnam.QuangNinh province,a Northern area of Vietnam that shares borderline with China,has been applying this new category into its educational program.After nearly 20 years with tremendous efforts,Mandarin has become a mandatory subject in city-wide range with remarkable number of schools applying,and Halong high school for talented stay at top one in province.In order to maintain the best environment for students,Vietnamese teachers have always advanced their teaching level as well as quality of teaching.Nevertheless,teaching is an activity that requires interactions,which means instructors,besides the need of advancedindividual ability,are capable of students? situations,strengths,and weaknesses to achieve the best outcomes of teaching.The research paper aims at analyzing the status quo of applying learning vocabulary methods of students in Halong high school for talented.This study is also written with theoretical basis and studies about lexical studying methods of Mandarin language learners in both domestic and international scope.According to the combination of surveys,interviews,and synthesis of former studies,writer has investigated the vocabulary learning method of sample of 83 students in Halong high school for talented.The research sets target at further investigating the understandings of Chinese lexical study methods currently being applied,and as a consequence helps students improve and enhance study methods as well as reducing the pressure of homework and increase study efficiency.In the meantime,the research?s result can be a secondary source of data for teachers who are currently teaching or about to teach this subject.The paper can assists teachers to deeply understand student?s learning process as a pedal to adjust teaching methods,utilize the contents of teaching program,help student make a suitable timetable,and increase teaching and learning productivity.It is expected that this research can be an inspired and material source for students and teachers in the process of adjusting Mandarin lexical study methods of each individual.
