The communication of sports events on the internet is becoming an inevitable trend in the digital information era.However,infringements of sports events in internet communication frequently occur and legal disputes frequntly surge.With the research methods of literature review and logical analysis,this article anlyzes infringements of sports events in internet communication.And then it puts forwads that China's current Copyright Law has blind spots in the copyright protection of internet communication,and combined with some actual ingringement cases,it introduces several infringing behaviors of sport events in Internet communicaiton.The author draws the shortcomings of our country in the protection of new media broadcast rights of sports events.First,the lack of relevant laws on the protection of sports rights in sports events in China.Second,the government and other competent departments of the joint law enforcement capacity is weak.Third,China's anti-piracy infringement of new technology research and development deficiencies.Fourth,China's sports events on the protection of new media broadcast laws and regulations and international treaties and other countries on the coordination of problems.Fifth,China's citizens and new media broadcast organizations copyright awareness of the weakness.Then it points out such countermeasures as inmproving legislation.First,improve the relevant legislation.Second,strengthen supervision,improve joint law enforcement capacity.Third,increase anti-piracy new technology research and development.Fourth,coordination of international treaties and other national laws.Fifth,to carry out the protection of new sports broadcast sports publicity.
