| In recent years,with the attention paid to the expert teacher research in the education field,the research on expert teacher of middle school chemistry has gradually become one of the important themes in the field of chemical education.Through combing and analyzing the relevant literature,the author found that most of the research on the quality of expert chemistry teachers focused on the teaching behavior of expert teachers of middle school chemistry in class,chemistry professional knowledge,chemistry teaching skill and quality of personality characteristics in a certain aspect.This research comprehensively applied the literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to analyze and summarize the basic factors of quality characteristics of expert teacher of middle school chemistry and a basic theoretical framework was formed.At the same time,the quality characteristics of the expert teacher of middle school chemistry who is as the object of case study were researched aiming at providing reference for the assessment and cultivation of expert teacher of middle school chemistry.A senior expert teacher of chemistry at LiangJiang Senior High School Of Chongqing,Mr.Huo,was selected as the object of case study for this paper.Mr.Huo’s quality of behavior was studied through observation of his class teaching;Mr.Huo’s quality of ability on chemistry teaching,research and other aspects was studied through analyzing his teaching plan and contents of academic paper;his quality characteristics of knowledge and personality are studied through questionnaire and interview.The study concluded that Mr.Huo has the following quality characteristics:1.Quality characteristics of knowledge: He has abundant knowledge of chemistry subject knowledge and chemistry theory knowledge;he has a high degree of integration in chemistry subject knowledge and a good organization and extraction structure.2.Quality characteristics of ability: high level of chemistry educational research ability;heightened awareness;strong ability of teaching monitoring;high chemistry experimental skill and instruction ability for chemistry experiment;keen innovation ability of chemistry teaching and chemistry course design ability.3.Quality characteristics of personality: strong motivation for achievement and a strong belief in education;strong self-consciousness and independence characteristic.4.Quality characteristics of behavior: skilled chemistry education and teaching skills and exquisite teaching arts;good ability of setting teaching situations to guide students to actively explore and communication and cooperation;loving students and attaching importance to students’ future development. |
