Comparative Study Of The Selection Of Probability And Stastistic Problem In Senior High School Textbooks

The paper makes a comparative study on the selection of probability statistics exercises in high school mathematics teaching materials.First of all,the paper conduct a questionnaire survey and an interview on the mathematics teachers and students in Wuxi,in order to analyze the way that high school mathematics teachers select exercises and the degree of consistency between students and teachers in the actual selection of exercises.The results of the survey appear as follows:1.Teachers are accustomed to use the teaching materials selected by the school and lack the awareness of independent problems;2.The way which teachers select exercises lack in organization and arrangements;3.The teacher's selected exercises is far below the expectations of the students.in fun and exploration.Secondly,this paper makes a statistical analysis in the problem of the difficulty of the probability statistical exercises in the two versions of teaching materials by applying the comprehensive problem difficulty model,and analyzes the probability statistical problems of the teaching materials of which are published by People Education Press and Beijing normal university.It is concluded that the textbook which is published by People Education Press is lower than that of Beijing normal university in the exploratory level,and much higher in the calculate difficulty level,both of them are relatively low in the comprehensive knowledge application.Finally,according to the current selection situation of probability statistics exercises,the learning needs of students,the experience of selecting teachers 'exercises and the analysis of the amount,type,and comprehensive difficulty of the two textbooks' probability statistics,The paper puts forward the optimization scheme of high school probability statistics exercises,and provides some suggestions for teachers to choose the exercises in the teaching work.
